National Tourism Summit (NTS) is an annual national gathering of tour operators from across India, organised by the Tour Operators Association of India (TOAI). The 6th edition of NTS will be held 25–28 September 2027, 10 AM – 5 PM, at the Saptha Convention Center, Wayanad, Kerala. The four-day event will feature a Tourism Exhibition, National Conference, Awards Ceremony, Networking Programmes, and familiarisation (FAM) trips. NTS aims to bring tourism professionals together, build strong industry connections, share knowledge, recognise achievements, and create new business opportunities.
National Tourism Summit
The National Tourism Summit (NTS) is the annual flagship gathering of the Tour Operators Association of India (TOAI). Held towards the end of September, in connection with World Tourism Day, it travels each year to a different destination.
NTS’27 will be the sixth edition, hosted in Wayanad, Kerala. Previous editions were held in Delhi (twice), Jaipur, Goa and Odisha.
NTS is designed as a comprehensive business, knowledge and networking platform featuring a Tourism Exhibition, B2B Meetings, Business Networking, Expert-led Seminars and Knowledge Sessions, Destination Showcases, Itinerary Presentations, Award Ceremonies, and Familiarisation (FAM) Trips, along with several other industry-focused engagements.

Tour Operators Association of India
TOAI brings tour operators together across India to collaborate, grow and lead — through strategic networking, branding initiatives and expert-led knowledge sessions.
The association was founded in 2018 and runs a national structure: a central committee, zonal and state coordinators, state chapters and a women’s entertainment committee, with members across 41 states.

The Summit has been held five times before. It has travelled to Delhi twice, and to Jaipur, Goa and Odisha.

What is a FAM trip?
A FAM — familiarisation — trip lets tour operators experience the host destination first-hand: its products, accommodation and experiences. They can then promote it in their own markets and build new itineraries around it. Year-round, TOAI also runs TRAIL, its Fam Trip Series, for members across India.
How many editions have there been?
NTS’27 is the 6th edition. Previous editions were hosted in Delhi, twice, and in Jaipur, Goa and Odisha.
